Kazu & Chris: What's Nonviolence Got To Do With It?

Racial justice uprising, climate emergency, a global pandemic, and what's shaping up to be one of the strangest election seasons ever...

What do the principles and practice of nonviolence have to offer at a time like this? Does a nonviolence framework set counterproductive limits on the struggle for justice? Is nonviolence even possible in this increasingly complex and chaotic era? Is it an outdated model that is no longer relevant?

Join authors and activist-organizers Kazu Haga (author of Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm) and Chris Moore-Backman (author of The Gandhian Iceberg: A Nonviolent Manifesto for the Age of the Great Turning) as they dialog about the role and relevance of nonviolence in the tumultuous and pivotal year of 2020.
