Part of a monthly series of talks organized and hosted by the Oakland Peace Center, taking place every month until August of 2020. The hope is to highlight partners of the Oakland Peace Center and their amazing work that uplifts and supports peace, justice, equity, and dignity in the communities in which they work.

For the fifth installment of the Peace Weavers Speaker Series (and the second of 2020!), we present Kazu Haga, Co-founder of East Point Peace Academy. He will be speaking on “Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm” which is also the title of his new book! Refreshments will be provided and the talk will be followed by a Q&A.

We are asking for suggested donations of at the door and during the event, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
